Nickel 201 Wire
The low-carbon version of Nickel 200. Holding carbon at 0.02 % stops graphitisation above roughly 315 °C, which is where Nickel 200 starts to embrittle in high-temperature service.

Questions we get asked
When should I specify Ni201 instead of Ni200?
Above roughly 315 °C in air. Below that the two grades behave identically and Nickel 200 is the lower-cost choice.
Do you certify carbon content per lot?
Yes — carbon is reported on the inspection report for every lot, which is the single parameter that decides high-temperature suitability.
Is Ni201 weldable?
Yes, by TIG, MIG and resistance methods. Low carbon actually improves weld-zone ductility compared with Nickel 200.
