Changzhou, China · Precision alloy wire since 1990

Precision alloy wire, from 1 kg — delivered in 3 to 7 days.

Pure nickel, Monel 400, constantan, manganin, copper-nickel and thermocouple wire, drawn from 0.025 mm to 6.00 mm. Melted, drawn, annealed and tested under one roof — so the wire in the box is the wire on your purchase order.

Since 1990 Drawing alloy wire

Drawing hall, Changzhou — drawing, annealing and finished spools under one roof.

Five things we settle before the first order.

Quantity, lead time, specification, pairing and terms — agreed up front and in writing, before anybody commits. If any of them does not work for what you are buying, say so at quotation stage and we will tell you plainly what we can do.

01

Order quantity from 1 kg upward

Sample coils start at 1 kg, trial orders at 5 kg. We would rather draw a small lot and let you test it than ask you to commit to a container before you have seen the wire.

02

Delivery in 3 to 7 days

Standard lead time is 3 to 7 days from order confirmation. Tell us the date your line needs the wire and we will confirm what is achievable before you place the order — not after.

How we schedule a shipment
03

Drawn to your specification, not to a catalogue

Grade, diameter, temper, tolerance and spool length are set by your drawing. If you only know the application — a thermocouple, a shunt, a heating element — send us that, and we will propose the grade and the gauge.

Grades and tolerances
04

Thermocouple legs supplied as a matched pair

Positive and negative legs are drawn from the same melt and shipped together, so nobody is left pairing spools from two different batches before a probe can be built.

05

Toll drawing — send us the metal

If you already hold the metal, we will draw, anneal and test it to your specification and return the finished wire with its material certificate.

Drawing capability
ISO 9001 certified since 2012 Drawing alloy wire since 1990 In-house vacuum melting Fine wire from 0.025 mm Six alloy families

A fine-wire plant, measured in millimetres.

Most alloy wire on the market is commodity rod drawn to a standard gauge. Our capacity is concentrated at the other end of the range — fine and ultra-fine diameters where pass counts rise, yield falls, and only a handful of plants can hold the tolerance.

Six alloy families, one drawing floor.

Every family below is drawn in-house from melted or purchased stock and supplied in soft (M), half-hard (Y2) or hard (Y) temper. Special diameters, spool lengths and surface conditions can be quoted on request.

Coil of pure nickel wire Family 01 N4 / N6 · Ni201 / Ni200

Pure Nickel Wire

0.025 – 6.00 mm

Low resistivity, good oxidation resistance and reliable weldability. The default choice for lead wires in heating elements, electron and vacuum devices, electrodes, nickel mesh and battery current collectors.

Heating element leads Electrodes Mesh & woven cloth
Coil of Monel 400 nickel-copper alloy wire Family 02 Monel 400 · Ni70Cu28

Monel 400 Wire

0.10 – 6.00 mm

A nickel-copper alloy with high resistance to seawater, alkalis and hydrofluoric acid. Specified where corrosion resistance matters more than conductivity — marine hardware, nuclear and chemical service, specialty welding wire.

Seawater service Chemical plant Specialty welding
Coil of constantan 6J40 resistance alloy wire Family 03 6J40 · Cu55Ni45

Constantan Wire

0.05 – 6.00 mm

Stable resistivity, good workability and strong corrosion resistance. Used for precision wire-wound resistors, current sampling resistors, shunts and power resistors — and as the negative leg of type E, J and T thermocouples.

Wire-wound resistors Shunts Sampling elements
Coil of manganin 6J12 precision resistance wire Family 04 6J8 / 6J12 / 6J13

Manganin Wire

0.05 – 6.00 mm

Low temperature coefficient of resistance and a small thermal EMF against copper. The reference material for standard resistors, precision shunt resistors, measuring instruments and ratio bridges.

Standard resistors Precision shunts Instrumentation
Coil of copper-nickel low resistance alloy wire Family 05 NC003 – NC050

Copper-Nickel Resistance Wire

0.05 – 6.00 mm

A graded series covering resistivities from roughly 0.03 to 0.50 µΩ·m. Consistent batch-to-batch values at any given grade, and fine gauges that can be wound directly by the customer without a second drawing step.

Shunt resistors Load banks Braking resistors
Spool of thermocouple alloy wire Family 06 Type K / E / J / T

Thermocouple Wire

0.10 – 6.00 mm

Positive and negative legs supplied as a matched pair, drawn from the same melt and delivered together so that customers are not left to pair their own spools. For thermocouples, temperature probes, mineral-insulated cable and compensating leads.

The hard part is not melting the alloy. It is holding the diameter on pass forty.

A 0.025 mm wire starts from rod hundreds of times thicker. Each pass thins the wire and hardens it; each anneal softens it back. Diameter, surface and temper all have to land together — and that is what has been held on this drawing floor since 1990.

Four things that are hard to find in one supplier.

01

We melt the alloy ourselves

Three vacuum melting furnaces sit at the head of our process. That makes us an alloy producer rather than a drawing shop buying rod and reselling it — which matters when a customer needs a composition window held tightly.

02

Fine wire is the specialism

Four of our six drawing lines are fine-wire lines. The very fine diameters that sit at the edge of a general-purpose mill's range are ordinary work here.

03

Toll drawing, if you already hold the metal

Send us your rod or wire and we will draw, anneal and test it to your specification. You keep control of where the metal came from; we take responsibility for what it measures when it leaves the plant.

04

Low entry, no minimum drama

Samples from 1 kg, small production runs from 5 kg, and toll drawing if you prefer to supply your own material. We would rather run a trial order than argue about a container.

Five stages, all inside one plant.

01

Specification

Send grade, diameter, temper, tolerance, quantity and the end use. If you only know the application, we will propose a grade and gauge.

02

Melting & composition

Vacuum melting followed by composition verification before the ingot is released to the drawing floor.

03

Multi-pass drawing

Diameter and surface condition are checked pass by pass, not only at the end of the run.

04

Annealing to temper

Soft, half-hard or hard, set by furnace cycle so that the delivered temper is consistent along the whole length.

05

Inspection & packing

Final dimensional and mechanical checks, retained samples, spool or coil packing and export documentation.

What arrives with the wire.

Every batch is inspected before it is released and a sample is retained against the batch number. A material test certificate is issued as standard; third-party laboratory reports, environmental declarations and customer-specific inspection requirements can be arranged on request.

  • Material test certificate (chemical composition and mechanical properties)
  • Dimensional verification against the agreed tolerance
  • Retained sample per batch, traceable by batch number
  • Third-party (CNAS-accredited) testing on request
  • RoHS and REACH declarations on request
Metal samples retained for inspection
Retained samples and inspection stock are kept against the batch number.

Send us the specification — diameter, grade, temper, quantity.

Tell us the grade, the diameter, the quantity and the date your line needs the wire. We will come back with a confirmed lead time and the documentation we can issue for the shipment. Samples from 1 kg.
