Manganin Wire 6J13

A manganin variant used where a lower resistance level and stable behaviour under load are wanted together. Common in meter shunts and battery-management current sensing, where the resistor carries real current and still has to stay accurate.

Questions we get asked
6J12 or 6J13 for a meter shunt?
6J13 is generally chosen where a slightly lower resistivity and a specific resistance value are wanted; 6J12 is the broader general-purpose grade. Send the Ω value and we will match the grade and diameter.
Is the resistance measured on every spool?
Yes. Every spool label records grade, diameter, net weight, measured resistance per metre, date and checker.

Send the specification — diameter, grade, temper, quantity.

We come back with a confirmed lead time and the documentation we can issue for the shipment. 100 g sample at cost; orders from 1 kg.
